Trying to quit smoking?

Recommended Posts

1. Get 20 popsicle sticks
2. Write a reason to quit on each stick
3.Take an empty cigarette pack ~ and fill it with the popsicle sticks.
Every time you feel like lighting up, pull out a reason to quit instead

The day before I quit, I took a bunch of old butts and put them in a clean mayonnaise jar and set it on my desk. Whenever I got a craving, I'd unscrew the lid and take a big whiff.

I only needed to do that a few times.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
