I throw my 9115 cigarettes not smoked on the bonfire in memory of Paul's friend, Mike, who died yesterday from smoking.  Also in honor and memory of all loved ones lost to this addiction....

Wow!!

I just remembered that the first time I participated in a 'bonfire' I threw in my little teeny amount of 40 cigarettes. About 2 1/2 days worth.

I read the thousands that others threw in and I felt so small.

But day by day.....my 20 cigarettes a day have added up!!

Here's my 2020

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
