Morning NOPErs on this solemn of sacred days I am just back from the cenotaph for the local service... Remembrance Day or Armistice Day marks the end of combat in WWI. 100 years ago today, in a railway carriage in the Forest of Compiègne, at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month representatives from France, Britain and Germany put pen to paper to end a conflict that had raged for 4 years, had involved over 100 countries, had seen over 70 million head off to battles, the men of an entire generate were lost, Europe, particularly Belgium and France, were reduced to rubble and the world said never again? Remembrance Day is not a day to glorify war... instead it is a day to pause, and remember everything and everyone who is lost, marred or tainted by war. To be grateful for the peace and freedoms we enjoy. So wear a poppy as a sign of remembrance, and pause for a minute at 11am and remember, not just those lost in the First World War but in all those that have followed.

NOPE .... never again.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
