On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism.

I should note that the fourth plane that crashed down in a field in Pennsylvania never reached its intended target because it's crew and passengers fought back against the terrorists and gave their lives to save countless others...……….

The day that changed the whole world forever... so I am ignoring the 19 dogs who hijacked the planes, they don't deserve to be counted... but in on that day...

2,975 innocent people were murdered, their lights lost to this world but never to be forgotten.

90 countries were left to mourn their dead, none more so than the USA.

412 victims were first responders who went into danger to help others

8 children died in these attacks, all under 12 and all in aircraft.

Over 6,000 people were injured.

Over 3000 kids under 18 lost at least 1 parent.

Over a hundred babies would be born after their dad had died and never know him.

Over 400,000 people became victims of PTSD, mainly New Yorkers.

Over a million were exposed to toxins in the smoke, dust, air and debris of Ground Zero

Since the attack...

Too many military personal from the USA, the UK and Australia have lost their lives in the war on terror.

Too many military personal have lost limbs, sight, hearing, or sustained other injuries since the attacks in the war on terror.

Too many more kids under 18 have lost one or both parents to the war on terror.

Too many defense personal now have PTSD.

Over 1,100 people who are not first responders have confirmed cancers as a result of 9/11 toxins

Over 1,400 first responders, rescue workers and recovery team members who attended on the day and in the weeks and months after died in the first 10 years after the attacks.

Never Forget This.... God Bless America and every single person left behind.
