Hello my NOPE mates. Bit late today because I have been out for most of the day.... then its taken me a few hours to settle on a shout out because the 'special' days today were either a bit dodgy or just plain silly and then India came to the rescue... today, in India, is Indian National Sport Day.... and why shouldn't we be thankful for sport and celebrate and rejoice it, there are so many positives sports can bring to a person, community and even the world. Being smoke free has made sport so much more enjoyable as both a participant and as a fan. Didn't miss a single second of a game this year having to sneak out to feed the addiction... so NOPE makes sport even more enjoyable. So we can't acknowledge Indian National Sport Day with out mentioning Major Dhyan Chand Singh... one of the greatest hockey players in the world... now this is field hockey... but Chand had never played hockey until he joined the army at 16, 4 years later he was in the national team, 2 years after that he captained India in the the first of 3 consecutive Olympic Gold Medals (28, 32, 36)... he served in the army until he was 51. He still holds the record for the most individual goals at an Olympics and in an individual game.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
