Congratulations @Sparkzzz on being 8 months quit!

Well done Sparkzzz for all the effort you have taken to nurture your quit and grow it into the solid thing it is now. You are 2/3rds of your way to the Lido Deck. You did that, fought the nicodemon, beat the craves and gave yourself the awesome gift of a smoke free life. For all the support and woohoos you give to everyone here thanks. Keep up your great work your almost there. Make sure you get yourself something special to celebrate this special day. Until then, join us as we rock out and celebrate your special day.

Ain't it nice that at this point, the nicodemon doesn't even bother with tantrums anymore? It might shyly ask for a smoke but it already knows it will just get told to f*** off again?

It is important to KTQ for two reasons -

1) no need to ruin one's health and waste money

2) Since Jo is now in charge of the celebrations dept, we cannot take smoking back up and give her an excuse to slack off posting milestones.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
