In my travels I have met up with smarti and jen, been blown off twice by sonic (I refuse a third date) and once by pepe (who said 7am was too early). Nancy has avoided me twice by not even setting up anything.

Southern tour in two weeks...one night in each of these towns, usually downtown near the tourist area/bars....

Virginia off I77 first day

Murphy North Carolina

Tusculusa Alabama

New Orleans two nights (Sazarak)

Clarksdale MS.

Memphis

Nashville

Louisville

And home.....

No excuses this time fancy feet....

Anyone else want to get a drink or just say hi for a minute?

Let me know what day you're going to be in Murphy.  That way I can make sure to be somewhere else that day.

You'll probably end up at the casino, but Peckerwood Ridge seems like a more fitting spot for you.

you don't want a hurricane.  they are disgusting.  too much cheap booze and friggin pink kool-aid.  an abomination.

Ramos Gin Fizz, Sazerac , or Pimm's Cups for trad cocktails.  Beer if you must.  Nicely chilled wine in summer.

Bourbon Street is foolish, go to Frenchmen for music, restaurants, bars, fun.

Go up to the levee and look at the river.

It's going to be deep swelter, prepare to sweat.  it gives a nice sheen to our skin.

Can't blame you.  I never cared for casinos either.

If you have some spare time before rolling into Cherokee County, you might want to take your motorcycle over to the Cherohala Skyway.  It runs just west of Robbinsville about 40 miles north of Murphy.  Winding road up in the mountains.  Great views.  A perfect road for a bike ride.

Been there...bringing some that haven't traveled the area with us. Back of Dragon out of Virginia, Foothills Parkway and Tail of the Dragon on the Saturday....you close to anything?

Nancy is in Tennessee but not the east, not the West and not the center. She is 2 1/2 hours from everywhere.

yeah not far enough south for me... I'm over 9,300miles from the nearest stop and my mechanic insists my car has no submarine or aqua mode so i'm not making any meetings.

Pretty sure he's banned from any commonwealth countries so looks like I'm out too!
