Hello, everyone!

Recommended Posts

Good morning!

I'm 26 and I used to smoke heavily. I thought I'd be hooked for life, but I'm smoke-free since june/2017, and feeling surprisingly okay!

I still had a few craving these past couple of months - they were very few, far between and not nearly as horrible as before, but enough to remind me that quitting is an everyday effort.

I used to browse QSMB, and I'm very glad I found this forum - I really missed reading topics every morning, and knowing there are some friendly fellas I can't let down played a major part in my quit.

I'm very happy to join you, and I hope I'll have something to say every now and then.

What kept you ?

I'm not sure I understand, but I haven't joined you guys sooner 'cause-- Well, I didn't know where to go (lol) and I thought I was a bit too busy to be an active member anywhere, I guess...? But I did miss pledging NOPE, so I was overjoyed to find this place.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
