Congratulations Seren on battling that nicodemon all through your 1st month! You are a whole month smoke free now :)

That's a huge accomplishment. Be sure to treat yourself with something special today in recognition of this proud moment.

Thank you for the post!!  I do great until the weekend - then I have a tough run of it.   This weekend is a 3 day weekend for me.   Trying to stay busy and not let my brain get the best of me.   I know the weekend is a trigger, but OMG - my mouth actually waters for a smoke when Friday rolls around.   WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?   The week days are pretty easy, so I know it's just a brain thing.   Literally, need to hang tough this weekend!  Not going to lose this quit!   I plan to post more once my brain is not such stew!!!   Thanks again.  Seren

Remain strong in your resolve Seren because you have a beautiful quit going now. That 1st month is something you don't want to lose - that's for sure. I think you will find things settling down a little more through the following weeks. Knowing your challenging times is actually a good thing because you can prepare yourself in advance to deal with them.

Keep up the fight :) we're routing for ya!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
