This is such a nice achievement
The quit train forum ticker that shows the time that i have stayed away from cigarettes have played a major role in this successful journey .
That ticker gives me a big positive vibe when i look at it .
Thanks for setting it up like all that .
Thanks to all the staff and people who have helped me with their talks and advice's
One advice i have to give you all is that , you all need more time to learn and to rewire and to adapt to a life without smoking .
Thanks

Wow , Its 3 years without cigarettes now ?
That feels like a big achievement
I don't even use the nicotine gums these days , i used to chew a gum once in a while .
But nowadays no nicotine related products is going in .
Thanks everyone .
Please remember , only the initial days or first 2 weeks of the quit is the harder .
After that it gets easier to manage

Hi sunshine, you can post it in our gallery (the tab is at the top of the forum page), on your profile in your About Me, or in the Social forum.
Keep in mind that we have had a member have her picture stolen and used on other sites so post with caution.
Thanks jillar ,
I will post it right here .
I am traveling to UAE this month .
So i thought i would post a picture here before i travel .
That picture is at least 5 years old
I am going there for a job search.
There are more job opportunities there compared to India

Hello intoxicated yoda ,
Yes, dried black pepper .
I eat 5 of it when i have anxiety and cravings . I keep it in my mouth for few minutes then chew it .

I am completely nicotine free .
Nowadays when i have an uneasy feeling or restlessness or or some cravings which i cant control .
I chew black pepper instead .
Believe it or not , The cravings and the anxiety goes away after chewing it .
Whenever the anxiety and cravings comes again , i chew the black pepper again .
It has been working for me .
That way i don't have to depend on sweets or junk foods for a better feeling .
Maybe it will work for you too

After reading that i ate some black pepper , 5 of it and it surely has some calming properties .
It killed my usual evening restlessness and anxiety a bit

Why are so many smokers huffing their pepper shakers to take the edge off? Let's investigate
Quote“I’ve dealt with generalized anxiety disorder for as long as I can remember, and have been on a few different kinds of benzos for it,” Jake says. “In my experience, I’ve found that the peppercorn helps calm my anxiety just as much as Xanax did.” He even keeps a container of black pepper in his glove box in case he has any flare-ups.

Thanks for the reply
I was a person that used to exercise , but i was not able to continue it for a long stretch due to many reasons .
When i was exercising , i remember even doing 120 pushups in the evening at my home workouts . That was 30 pushups x 4
During the past 2 months i have been thinking about workouts again , i could not decide between doing a 20 minute running or a 30 minute exercises like pushups , squats , crunches
I have talked about this in some other forum and they told me to do what i can enjoy doing .
Quote30 minutes a day three times a week is pretty doable
I really want to do it .
I am an evening person , so i will find some time in the evening itself to do some exercises

Its cold here now in India too .
I like the cold climate and i am lazily sitting in my sofa near my laptop trying to finish my oats and milk
I have nothing much to do
I am a student of accounting and SAP ERP software .I have been learning all those really hard .
After trying to understand the concepts of some hard topics i am feeling really tired
I really feel like taking a break .
I don't know what else i should try eating since i have diabetes too
I wish i had time for workouts but i cant find time for that either due to time issues .
I wake up in the morning , i have my classes from 8 to 9 . I reach work at 9 , then come back home at 6:30 .
Then i rest till 9 or 10 , start revising the things i have learned from 10 to 12 or 12:30
Things have been going like that for the past 5 plus years now .
Everything sort of sucks !!!!!!
I must resist the gums too
Please help .

Hello Leenyc3 ,
First of all please excuse my English , I am from India . Age 36
Smoking only gives a 2 minute satisfaction , And after that you feel really bad for ruining your health
If you can control that triggers or craving for few minutes . It will benefit your health in the long run
