  1. Working forward, figure every day is not smoking is a major win.  Driving is still the major trigger but is manageable.

Strong with my two guiding thoughts   Not One Puff Ever   NOPE  and you can not smoke what you don't have.

so no beg,  barrow, steal  or buying of any smoking material's.

I CAN DO THIS !  I WILL DO THIS !  I WILL BE BETTER FOR THIS !    OOOH HAPPY DAYS AHEAD !

    Daily PEP Talk completed.

  2. So WTF week, weirdness, fog, Emotional, couple days in and really haven't had much time to think about what week or even day I was in.

I guess Busy is a good thing,  Irritable yes been a little less tolerant than I normally am, Or it could be I'm just sick and tired of the crap ?

Not going to look to much into this, not a biggy,  going to be busy this week also won't be much time to think or want to smoke.

triggers at work are still active just not strong, heading outside or towards the patio is a auto crave. just have to tell myself No thank you and it goes.

or just now writing about it.    OK back to it, need to ahead of what is mine to do and clear some time for Friday

  3. Well I totally forgot about Easter ? Yep Saturday under my Yukon mussing  and fussing with a fill plug that will not be removed, of course this is after I drained it, the wife comes out and ask what are we going to do tomorrow ?

I reply most likely be work on this truck why?  she replies its Sunday,  and I say,  Easter Sunday  OOOOOPS   Totally forgot.

Good news  the wife and I had a very nice day together, finished it up with a picnic up at a mountain lake,  it was closed for the season and virtually empty, quiet, serine, snow covered mountains in the back ground, very beautiful and tranquil,   awwwwww I feel rested.

Bad new that Darn fill plug  still is in my transfer case, arrrrrrg.

Had some pictures flash in my head of me smoking in the quiet of the forest and a couple other different visions, come to think about it I am having visions more than craves this time around ?  except driving that is still a crave that is getting less and less.

So less stress and craves this weekend, more mental visual smoking pictures than before and I feel great,  AND 4 dys to my Wild Boar hunt !

  4. sorry got called away, a very frustrating Day, think it is a hot rain shower and bed day, again.  yes that is the plan

anyone know where the term Big wig came from for bosses ?    I do

Man my body hurts, back is tight, knotted mussels about my shoulder blades, time for some Ibuprofen.

The urge to smoke has not been that bad even with all the stress and crap today,  can't say none there were times but they were managed.

Really wished the chat box had someone in at when I was,   hey I left a box of Easter candies in the Chat box with a bunch of Peeps, Geee I hope no one gets there before me and eats them all ?   yes that's right Easter candy in the Chatbox ,  Run before its all gone

  5. Not a big craving or Trigger day, kept myself fairly busy, and managed a nap at lunch.

Have an electrical job to do here at 1:30, I should be OK, don't want to shave my head

but I think an Afro would look worse.

So after that I'll head home jump in an hot shower and get to bed very early.

couple more days I'll be nicotine free and out of Hell Week.

what is next WTF ?     Later Gator

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
