  1. Congratulations, Kate, on hanging in there and not giving up, and look where you are now!  Happy four years, and congratulations on your adorable new addition!  My dog is very jealous of Gabriela's squirrel stuffie.  What a lucky pup to have found you, and I hope dog#1 is enjoying having a buddy.

  2. Thank you, everyone!  Thanks, jillar, for posting.  I forgot my smoke-free anniversary this year, so I guess that's good news.  You really do reach a point where smoking stays firmly in the past with just the occasional thoughts/reminders.  For anyone who has recently quit, keep going day by day and you'll be surprised how quickly the days add up and eventually your smoking thoughts start fading into the background.  Cheers to all and keep up the great work.

  3. Congratulations to the spectacular Doreen and all members of the class of 2013 who have stayed the course and will be celebrating their first smoke-free decade this year!!!  I'm a couple of years behind and happy to say I'll never catch up because there's no way any of these folks are turning back.

Thanks for showing us that one minute, one hour, one day at a time will eventually add up to the celebration of the decade!!!  Now, it's time to party like a penguin!

  4. Huge congratulations to the Jillar Energizer Bunny!  You built a rock-solid quit and now just keep going and going -- always helping and encouraging all the folks who stop by looking for that extra motivation to take the smoke-free plunge.   Thanks for all you do to help keep the doors open and the lights on in this train.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
