I disagree with animals being stupid. I think humans are so over domesticated we don't know how to read the instincts given to animals. Some people know animals but I would say we think we are so superior, that we can see the forest at times because of the trees. I was a handler and semi trainer for many years. I say semi because I didn't know anything compared to the old trainers but more than average joe. Be suprised at what a dog can learn and naturally want to do it, for very little in return. Our ability to think is different than their ability to learn. We problem solve but they do to. It's not all learning a trick and repeating it. The dog progressing in the video is an example of learning how far to go. They will never build a car but they don't need one either. It's technology that keeps us alive. They don't need it. Sure dogs and other animals can't even serve their own food. But they are smart enough to make us do it.
