    Day 3

hi Edie, I would say that its perfectly acceptable for you to ask your wife to support you by not smoking near you and maybe having to go outside in the cold just might push her to quit to?

    how are you doing?

  1. Welcome Beth sounds like.a good positive plan to me, have you posted an introduction in the intro section of the forum more people will see it there

This blog section is a good tool to log your daily, weekly personal journey x

  2. Marie you have found your main reason for smoking, so you can now move forward with both as they will go hand in hand

If you quit smoking you will no longer have to hide in shame, you will smell better and look better, your confidence will grow

My mum too is my motivator for quitting smoking no way will I be like that at her age, they are not who we are, we are indivduals we just need to break free from belief that we are the same.

Hope you can learn to love yourself and be free

I find the youtube positive affirmation videos help x

Climb back on-board, you can do this!

  3. This is exactly where I am now in my quit, last year to get it into check took a lot of time and energy and now I am so ready to move along onto the next phase of life, I am ready to get out of the lifeboat after being rescued and now reaching the shore.

This year is full of exciting possibilities, the slate is wiped clean and its time to reinvent myself or as you say get back to where you should be

I wish you all the luck in the world, your new plans sound exciting

    Thanks x

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
