  8. Sarge had zero support from his Mrs. Sarge. She smoked. Full time. Cigarettes, lighters and ashtrays laying around all rooms of the house. Smoking every waking minute. It doesn't matter. It don't mean nothin' (not a thing (not a thing)) -- you carry on with your own plan regardless. Plot Twist: Mrs. Sarge saw how much better Sarge's life was and quit herself 3-ish years later. She's got 4 years under her belt now (to Sarge's near 8). Ignore those who still smoke. It doesn't affect you and is none of your concern. If they have some sense, they'll come around. If they don't, they won't. In either case your quit is your quit and depends on no one but you. Enjoy your new tobacco-free life. EZPZ

  25. I had one in my work place that lodged official complaints about scents worn. Mind you they also did the same about the transition from hardwood floor to carpet was a tripping hazard! Now; that was a stretch

  26. Guys, guys!! I said, 'putting the board somewhat in the background. Not, 'goodbye and talk to you never again!' I cant seem to find my way here in the socialization section, maybe its language barrier... dunno. Often afraid I misunderstand jokes and give wrong answers to them... that doesnt make the social section/whatever section very relaxed for me to be... so then all i talk about here is quitting and growing and proces... really, cant hear myself going on about that anymore.. but, i assume it just takes time for me to adjust and to get back some old aspects of myself.. I am not even sure this makes sense. Why am I explaining anyway... All is allright. Anyway, ill be around. And... thanks.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
