  6. Glad you came back @jacobrose Stay strong, you can do this!!! Some of us do have setbacks. I had one myself. After a 6 year quit I went back to smoking unfortunately, but this time I am determined to keep my quit. Keep coming back here, that is what has helped so many of us. Play the games in the Games section, they are lots of fun and we have a lot of laughs, especially with the Sticks and Chicks game!!

  8. Chiming in to say after 7 years and change in my quit…I refer to those “urges” as “nostalgia”. For me, now in my 50s, I sometimes crave the lifestyle of being in my younger years. Those years included smoking. I hear certain songs…I remember not only cigarettes but cloves. Ack!!! Back then I was naive but smart enough to know better than to smoke but did it anyway. So, I was a closeted smoker. For years… so I thought. I fooled no one - other than myself. Nostalgia is OK. Making it present day reality is not. NOPE! L4L

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
