About this blog

Hey!  My name is Piper and I am a new quitter.  I smoked my last cigarette at 11:44 pm on May 27th 2020.  I quit without using any nicotine replacement.  I have made it through but day 3 was more difficult than the first two.  So I did take 1/4 of a nicotine lozenge.  That seemed to do the trick.  In 6 minutes I will be starting Day 4.  Fingers-crossed and pushing forward.  I have tried quitting before but always caved by Day 3's end and I am about to blow past that in a few minutes.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
